Our customer ANDRITZ is a GLOBALLY LEADING SUPPLIER OF PLANTS, EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES for hydropower stations, the pulp and paper industry, the metalworking and steel industries, and for solid/liquid separation in the municipal and industrial sectors. This technology group is now searching to expand the team in Graz or Vienna with a highly motivated contract manager (f/m), who will contribute to ANDRITZ’s further success by engaging in the support of contractual agreements with global partners across borders and business units.
Your main responsibilities include the PREPARATION – INCLUDING SUPPORT IN DECISION ABOUT VENDOR SE LECTION, DRAFTING AND ENFORCEMENT OF COMPLEX CONTRACTS in the field of erection / installation of turn key industrial plants, service / refurbishment jobs and other machinery installations. These activities need close cooperation with project management and technical departments as well as guidance of local procurement organizations. The crucial focus hereby is to assure PREVENTION OF FAULTS in the design and negotiation of the contracts. During execution, you oversee the preventive and active claim management towards the contracted erection company. In teamwork with other departments and the operational units, you create claim strategies and solutions. As a contractual expert you’ll be part of the GLOBAL GROUP PROCUREMENT and act as an interface in the group, providing the procurement and project leaders with the relevant contractual and commercial information. Acting as an ALLROUNDER your responsibilities will vary according to the different internationally located projects and from OPERATIONAL TASKS to strategic outlines.
We are addressing strong and dynamic personalities who ideally completed technical and commercial education and have responding expertise for designing, negotiating and optimizing contracts, as well as supporting the claim management for international projects. The knowledge of LEGAL/COMMERCIAL SUPERVISIONS OF THE ERECTION/INSTALLATION OF GLOBAL COMPLEX CONSTRUCTIONS is a must. In addition, managers, who are currently conducting operational business in the described fields, are welcome to apply, as they could be considered for DEVELOPMENT towards the very strategic key function. Excellent oral and written English skills are prerequisites and other language skills (f.e. Portuguese) are welcomed. Personal work experience at a construction site would be appreciated.
